Kindergarten students trying to keep the ball on the cone as they run the race.Kindergartners get ready to pull on the rope against the first graders in Tug-of-War.

There were lots of fun events for all the classes to participate in.  Here you can see the Kindergartners trying to run without dropping their “ice-cream” off their cones.  The Kindergarten prepare to challenge the 1st graders in Tug-of-War. 

First graders race in teams to see who can fill the bucket first by passing sponges.First grade gets ready to pull against the Kindergartners in the Tug-of-War.

The first graders got a little wet as they competed in the sponge race.  They had to see which team could fill the bucket the fastest passing the wet sponge down the line.  Here they are preparing to take on the Kindergartners! 

Two second graders try to pop their balloons by sitting on them.The second graders pull hard against the 3rd graders.

The 2nd graders had a blast trying to pop their balloons and race to the finish.  Some students had difficulty getting their balloon to pop. They pulled hard against the 3rd graders in the afternoon. 

2nd and 3rd graders see who can throw the noodle the farthest.2nd and 3rd graders compete in the sack race.

 Who can throw the noodle the farthest?  Not as easy as it looks.  Several students stay in the race as the 2nd and 3rd graders head to the finish line.

4th graders play hockey with potatoes.The 4th, 5th, and 6th graders compete in the sack race.

 The 4th graders are playing a race of Potato Hockey.  Then they face off with the 5th and 6th graders in the Sack Race.

The 5th and 6th graders pull against the 4th graders.The 4th, 5th, and 6th graders get ready to race with partners.

The 5th and 6th graders give it their all as they play Tug-of-War against the 4th graders.  Here they prepare to race with their partners down the field.

A thank you to our P.E. teacher for organizing the event, Charlie Company for running the events, and the PTSA for providing drinks for all.
