First day of SY 06-07
and Open House
  
Many families attended the Open House on the first day of
school. The BSB commander welcomed
the parents and students to the new school year.
 
It was great to see all the returning students and meet the new
children. As you can see
most were returning students.
A big welcome to our new kids!
 
Parents stayed for an information session while students went to
class to learn the new routines. Parents reviewed the student
handbook, learned about the PTA and found out how they could help with
Boxtops4education.
 
Classes had the chance to get acquainted with their new
teacher and each other.
 
Parents were allowed to visit classrooms and spent the rest of the
morning with their children.
 
Open House ended with a barbeque provided by the PTA. The kids had a blast playing
and eating with their friends and the parents had a great day with the
kids.
