Message from the Principal
We welcome you and your family to Dexheim Elementary School. The
school is located in the quiet town of Dexheim situated in a rural
setting only minutes from the picturesque Rhine River. Our school is
small, unique and full of excitement. Approximately 74 students in
grades kindergarten to sixth attend Dexheim Elementary. There is only
one grade per grade level. The exception is the 5th/6th combination
grade. Combination grades vary from year to year contingent upon the
number of students enrolled. Classrooms have an average of 10-15
students each. Thus, more one-to-one individual attention is given to
students.
There are 15 professional and para-professional staff members at
Dexheim. Our teachers and staff are committed and dedicated to help
students achieve their highest academic goals and potential. Teachers
also offer extra-curricular activities after school.
Our mission at Dexheim Elementary is to provide a safe and
productive learning environment in which all students reach their
fullest potential by developing knowledge and skills. We believe
parents are an integral part of the education process and the decision
making process. We ask that parents employ ways of getting involved in
school. You are welcome to join us at any time and during faculty and School
Improvement meetings.
