It is necessary
for the parent to come to the school office to complete registration

Immunization
Requirements:
Before enrolling in a Department of Defense
school, students are required to have the following immunizations:
- Hepatitis B (Hep B)
- Diptheria and tetanus
toxoids and pertussis vaccine (acellular [DyaP] is preferred over
whole cell [DPT] for all doses in the series)
- Haemophilus influenzae
type b [Hib]
- Poliovirus
(combination of injectable [IPV] and oral [OPV] is preferred)
- Measles-mumps-rubella
[MMR]
- Varicella (Var)
("chicken pox")
While these
immunizations are required to attend DoD schools, the Military Services,
not the schools, are responsible for giving students their
immunizations.
For more information
on immunizations for school, contact your school
nurse.
